Update time! The last week and a half I have had to go in to the Cancer Center and get a Neumega shot. This allows for palette growth- meaning mine our low. I think you're supposed to have around 100,000 to 150,000 and I only have like 48,000. I've been really tired and have no moto this week. I had blood drawn to see if I need some and I do which explains the tiredness. I will receive 2 units on Friday morning. I was going to have a CT scan done today but my stomach hasn't been feeling well so we changed it till Monday. The last couple of nights I've gone to bed around 7:00pm because I've been really nauseous and just had a horrible stomach ache. The doc prescribed me some meds for stomach cramping which hopefully will help. It's weird because it usually only hurts right after I eat dinner. The doc also said I stomach bug was going around......I really hope that's not what it is. Thomas is also under the weather. He has lost his voice and has to whisper or talk with this really raspy scary voice.
Chemo starts next week so I have a lot of things I want to get done this week that just isn't getting done. Laundry, grocery shopping, picking up the house.....plus Thomas' momma and sister Penny will be here on Friday and AJ's momma will be here Saturday as he flies in from Iraq on Monday. That means all the things on my 'to-do' list really needs to get done. No stressin'.....it will get done and if it doesn't, who is really going to care?
I had a really great week last week which included trips to Target, Staples, Wal-Mart......so fun. I got Alyssa and Chas some super cute Easter things at Wal-Mart and put a package together to mail out to them. It included egged shaped sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bunny ears, gum, suckers, rubber duckies......lots of fun stuff. Rene said Alyssa had a hay day unwrapping it all. She can't wait to use the sidewalk chalk but it's not warm enough outside there yet. I love sending people surprise gifts like that. I also sent Chad (who collects coins) some books on collecting and Japanese and Korean coins. He loved it! I should send more packages out to others. It makes me happy! :)
The weather here has been AMAZING! It's not too hot yet, warm enough to sit outside and enjoy it. Jack and Jan came down this past weekend and we spent a lot of time outside. Thomas did some cleaning up around the house and I helped by sweeping off the front and back porches. It felt so nice to be outside and to have family around.
K- time to get motivated.
