Round 4 is going pretty well- the side effects are minimal. My port has been hurting a little but I think it's just from being poked and touched from chemo. I think I've finally gotten the acid reflex under controll. Finally! I still can't drink or touch anything cold which is so annoying. Drinking warm tap water just doesn't cut it. Today is day 5 though so it should be subsiding soon.
My dad and brother arrived early yesterday evening safe and sound. It is really nice having family here. I wish the rest of my family were here too. My sisters and momma are thinking about coming down during their Fall break which would be so awesome! Tom has been working a lot lately which keeps me home alone so having others around is good for my moral.
I'm not sure what's going on for the weekend. I'm sure Thomas will take the guys out on the boat- maybe do some shrimping. I'll probably hang around the house. Any big plans for you?

Glad to hear that the side effects are minimal. The cold thing would be a pain though.
This weekend - there is a big ND game on! Saturdays for the next couple of months (or the rest of the year pretty much) will be taken up by ND football - thanks to my husband (odd to say still) being a HUGE fan - almost freakish.

I just read Tom's post and tried responding but I can't because I switched to Beta and it is screwy. Anyway, glad to hear that update. I've been wondering how you were doing a bunch lately. I'm glad to hear that the main tumor is reducing - that is great. You'll beat this.

This is my first time writing anything, and I feel bad about that. I have been on here just about everyday though. I'm so glad to here that the chemo. is helping, even if it is just a little. Life is so hard sometimes, but it sounds like you have the most supportive family and friends that anyone could ever have. I have so many great memories of you and your sisters, and there will always be a place in my heart for ya'll. If there is ever anything that I can do, let me know. Tell the fam I said howdy, and that I love ya'll. Halla at you soon.
