Round 4

Monday I started Round 4 of chemo. I now have Becky (the pump) hooked up and will have her on until tomorrow. We have also scheduled a CT scan for tomorrow at 12:45pm to check out the size of the tumor and the blood clot. I'm really anxious to see the results but of course my follow-up doctor appointment isn't until Monday afternoon. Tom's going to call the nurse and see if we can't get some insight before then. :)

I'm not feeling well at all. My stomach is so very sore. It just hurts- and won't stop. I've had a couple hot flashes too but mostly just the belly. I hate it. I was hoping this round was going to be like the last- not too bad but I was wrong. I can't have anything cold either. No cold water, no cold juice, nothing. It hurts my me. I can't touch anything cold or it feels like needles going into my skin and leaves welts. Crazy, I know. Tom got me gloves to wear to get things out of the frig. Cute little green ones with black dots. :) I will make it through it though. I keep reminding myself of how great last week was and that helps me stay positive.

My daddy and older (42 years old) brother are coming to visit this Friday and are staying for a week! I'm really looking forward to it but a little nervous about them being here that long. I just hope they don't get bored is all. Tom is trying to get back into going to work on a regular basis too so he may not be her too often to keep them busy. I really am looking forward to spending the time with them.

Jan came down to visit today which is so nice! She's going to make potato soap- my favorite! for dinner tonight. She's great company. Sarah is going to come over tonight to watch movies and hang out also. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
