Saturdays

I love um! It is definitely my favorite day of the week- filled with endless possibilities. I plan to spend this Saturday shopping! Tom left for Charleston this morning at 6:00 am for the Bulldog Challenge and I'm left with doing whatever I want. :) Plus, we just finished our taxes yesterday and we don't owe nearly as much as we initially thought. Yay us! I might even go get a pedicure/manicure- something I've never done. My friends think that's crazy and should get one immediately.

N has been moved to a hospice room. She's still breathing on her own but once they remove the medicine she's on, it won't be long until she passes. I cried in bed last night thinking about my daddy and how hard this is for him- and about the memories with N. Tom & I stopped to visit them in February on our way home from Naples. She was always so warm and welcoming- greatful for our company. And she loved my dad. He will make it through this as one does through hard times- slowly, painfully. And I will be there for him.
