It's Time

N passed away Saturday night. My dad seems to be okay. It's hard telling over the phone. He and N's brother are on their way back to Indiana from Florida and her sons will fly out Tuesday. The viewing will be on Thursday and then the funeral on Friday morning. Tom & I are leaving late Wednesday night and probably drive the 12 hours to Indianapolis- stopping at his sister's and then my sister's. Then the 3 more to home that night. I'm really looking forward to seeing the family- just not in this circumstance. And not the long drive. But it is Easter weekend- we get to go to church with the family and the Easter egg hunt with the little ones! How fun!

I had my first physical therapy appointment today. She bent my legs this way and that way- measuring my flexibility or should I say the lack there of, measured the length of my legs- and yes, my right leg is 1/2 inch shorter than the left, just like the orthopedic doctor said. I'm such a gimp. I have this plastic "lift" I'm supposed to wear in my shoe......what shoe, I wear flip flops! Tom and I are going to velcro the bottom of it and put a piece on ever right flip flop I own. I have to go back 3 times each week for 2 weeks. That's a lot of trips to the Naval Hospital.
