My heart breaks for the people of New Orleans and other cities we have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina. I cannot even begin to imagine the loss they must feel. Please keep them all in your prayers.
New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. It not only breaks for the people but also the city. It's the city where I feel in love with Thomas. I have so many memories there- such a deep emotional connection. It almost feels like a death in the family has occurred. I know that sounds strange......I just feel such a great sadness.
Tom & I have made a donation to the American Red Cross 2005 Hurricane Relief fund. I hope many more will do the same.

- Ali was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (Neuroendocrine Small Cell) when she was 25 years old. Her battle with cancer was one more way her beauty shined through. She was grace and strength. Her faith and spirit are what drives her husband, family and friends. Tom's still writing at "Our Lady, Star of the Sea."
