The weekend has been filled with lots of action. Saturday I had a baby shower and then Saturday night we had a Hail and Farewell party at the CO's house. Which consisted of plastic cups full of wine and jello shots. :) Good times had by all. Sunday we decided we were sick of the orange kitchen and started priming and painting away. It's now a fresh whitish color with a light turquoisy blue back splash. You can see pictures on Thomas' blog. I will post some once it's all put back together. Today we are doing touch ups and have painted the insides of the pantry closets. I also cleaned out all the drawers and cabinets- a little reorganization. I've got new curtains to make too. I really like it- much brighter and cleaner. Thomas doesn't have to work until Thursday so we're taking advantage of the time and doing little home improvement projects we've been putting off. It feels so nice to be productive! I'm actually a little sore today from all the painting......
Tomorrow I have a CT scan. I haven't had one in 10 weeks so I'm really anxious to get the results, which won't be till next week. Please keep me in your prayers- positive results!!!!

i really really liked your pictures of the orange kitchen, then i looked at the new picture and wow it is sooo fresh and light, i always stay with the same colors for years and years, just new paint, same color. oh, well and yes i pray every day for you and will continue to do so! love you sweetie girl! love and prayers grandbetty
