Thomas and I had a nice relaxing weekend. I wish I would have been more productive- we really wanted to work outside sprucing up the backyard but it was really hot and humid. Saturday night we made a trip to Barnes & Noble and both got new books. You can check mine out in the 'I'm Currently Reading' section to the right. I'm only in the second chapter and so far, it's pretty good. Thomas loves his book- can't put it down. It's called Rant by Chuck Palahniuk- the same guy who wrote Fight Club. Sunday as the sun was going down, we decided to put the kayaks in. All I can say is PERFECT. The weather, the atmosphere, the mood, I didn't tip over :)...it was great. A wonderful end to the weekend.

Today I had to go to the C. Center to get a shot and decided to take a detour on the way home to a local coffee shop to treat myself to a iced moca latte- so good. I then adventured down to the water and sat for awhile. I love living so close to it. So relaxing and reminds me of growing up on the lake.


Thomas is leaving tomorrow for a conference in Dallas and will return on Friday. I'm going to take the opportunity to head to Penny and Colin's for some pool time! And maybe a bloody mary or two. And all the other great things I listed last time we went.....
