Chemo Week

I get the results of my CT scan today along with chemo. I'm super anxious. Please send good vibes my way. :) I will let you know the results soon.

UPDATE:

Thomas and I just visited with Dr. Chahin. Good news! Everything is stable. I guess it's really satisfactory- we wished there were shrinkage but Doc said since I've been feeling so well for so long now, it's really what he expected. He'd rather me be feeling the way I am because that's a sure sign the chemo is working. And as for needing the blood so much, it's to be expected since I've been undergoing chemo for almost a year now and since my bone marrow is compromised to begin with. My counts are good- hemoglobin count is in the 9s and I have 20,000 platelets so on with chemo today, tomorrow and Friday. I can't wait for it to be over. :)

Below is a picture of the the chemo room at the center- were it seems I spend my life. The view is from my chair. I always sit in the same place- at the very end close to the bathroom so it's not such a hassle to get there if need be. There's also chairs on the other side of the room. The second picture is of the chemo pump that pumps me full of sweet toxic chemicals.
