Oh So Good

I have been feeling so good this last week! It's amazing! I feel so healthy and alive. I stopped taking my pain medicine during the day even- which means I don't sleep all day long and am more myself. I feel more alert and aware of what's going on. Thomas has noticed a difference in my personality- he said I look at him like I used to before all the pain meds took over me. Yay! These new chemo drugs must be doing something good.

I was looking at the pictures we took over the holiday at home in Indiana and got really sad. I really miss my family and since I wasn't feeling well when we were there, I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to like my grandparents. So.....I asked Thomas if we could go home again soon and he, to my surprise, said yes!!! We are planning (if I'm still feeling this amazing!) to go after my next round of chemo which will be in two weeks. I plan to stay at least two weeks and Thomas is probably going to stay for the first and then come back down to SC to help Colin and Penny move into their new house. It will be a lot of driving for him but I guess he doesn't mind. I'm so looking forward to going. I had such a great time during Christmas regardless of my pain. My family means so much to me and I just can't get enough of them! Love you guys! :)

And finally here are some pictures from our visit home.

Me and all of my siblings.

My niece Chas (Rene's daughter) sister Kim and her daugthers, Christine and Abby.

It's so nice being around family and friends during the holidays. I've been sick for a little while now too (different sickness) and have really begun to appreciate the days where I feel good!
