Final Word
I've gotten the final word on Thomas' arrival! He will be flying into Charleston on the 21st at 4:30pm. I think I'm going to make the hour and half trip and meet him there instead of waiting for the Marine Corps van to bring him here. I wonder if the airport will let me meet him at the gate instead of waiting at the security check point. I've heard they let military families do that. That would be way cool! My place of employment will be closed from the 22nd through the 2nd of January which is perfect timing. I cannot even explain how ecstatic I am to have him home for the holidays. These next few weeks are going to be spent preparing for Christmas and T's arrival. I've got Christmas cards to make and send out, Christmas gifts to make (we're doing a handmade theme for T's family), the tree to put up, cookies to bake for the Senior Tea, shopping for a new outfit, a 5k to run........anything to keep me busy.

That's great news
Hey Alison! I just went through the "meeting at the gate" stuff while in Hawaii. You can meet them at the gate if it is a domestic arrival. If it is international, customs won't let you through.
Also, I have that Christmas card stuff if you still want it. :-) Let me know!
