Holy Long Time Batman!

So it's been over a week since my last post. Since Tom's been gone I've
had something to do almost every night. And those who know me-
know that's not me- I'm such a homebody. But the time is flying by.
2 1/2 months down. I've been busy baking cookies for birthdays,
attending wives' functions, dinners and movies with friends.......

I got rear ended today. Yup, sure did. By a 85 year old lady with bottle
cap glasses! I was on my cell phone talking to my sister and I turned
on my signal to turn into the Mary's house (the Mary Kay lady I work for)
and bam. My sister heard it. I told her I just got rearended and hung up
the phone. Instantly tears flowed down my checks. I wasn't hurt. I barely
felt it but just the shock scared the living bajesus out of me. I tired calling
Tom's cell phone like five times with no answer. I just wanted to talk to my
husband! There were two cops coming the other direction and saw it all.
My car is fine. Just a little white paint on the bumper. Nothing a little
buffing can't take care of.

I'm flying out tomorrow for Tom's sister's wedding. I'm so excited to go
'home'. It's been so long- since last Christmas. I get to see all my family
and my two best friends. I can't wait!
