Sisterly Love

T-18 hours and counting.......I am so stoked to have my sister here!

The weekend was very uneventful. I cleaned and cleaned and went to Yal'Mart. I also watched Million Dollar Baby which I highly recommend. It was nothing like what I expected. Very moving.

I talked to my oldest sister, Kim a few days ago. (I am the fifth child out of six- 2 brothers and 3 sisters- ranging in age from 40 something to 22) It really made me miss home. She is such a wonderful momma, sister and friend. My two nieces, Christine is 16 and Abby is 5, are such sweethearts. They recently got 4-Wheelers and ride around the Indiana countryside with their dad. I got to talk to Abby, who by the way, talked my ear off- it was cute- told me all about their new baby bunnies. One momma had 4 and another had 5! She recited all their names like they were her own little ones. They are thinking about keeping one of them- a brown one, either Fudge or Brownsugar. Did you know that a few days before a momma bunny is going to have her babies, she plucks out her fur to make a hut for them. The babies are born with no hair so the momma does this to keep them warm. I never knew! Abby is such a smart one! My sister and her husband are really raising two amazing girls. They have had many great life experiences. I miss you Shanahans!

Cool. I hope you have a good time with H. You want a baby-bunny?

That would be cool! We could let the Shanahans pick it out like we did the kitties. They did such a great job with that I think we could trust them with a bunny. :)
