The girls left this morning. All alone again. :( I had such a great time with them. It was fun to hear all the high school drama and boyfriend stories. I hope they had a good time. I hope they get to visit again. I like having company.
Now it's time to be productive- start on the kitchen again, mow the lawn(if I can get into the shed- I have seemed to miss place the key!), weed the flower bed, clean my room, laundry, all the great things Sundays are for.
The kitchen seems so overwhelming. I finished sanding all of the upper cabinets today. I hope to get all the lower ones done today as well. T is my motivation to keep going. I like to take breaks but when he's around he keeps me on task. I sand a few and take a break. Sand a few more and take a break. I guess there's nothing wrong with that. As long as I get back to the task at hand. It's just going to take me twice as long. :)
Yesterday morning I went downtown to the festival. I was upset to see the Farmer's Market that is usually set up at the marina was not there. I've been buying peaches, blueberries, yellow squash, green peppers, eggplant, onions and lots of other awesome fresh produce. I love the summer! Instead a craft market was set up. I walked around in the hotness for awhile and then went to some local shops to look around. I found my secret pal a gift (another wife in the squadron while the boys are away) and a Christmas present for a family member. I also went to Southern Sweets, an amazing ice cream shop, and ordered a scoop of peach in a waffle cone. I sat in a rocking chair outside the shop and licked away. How relaxing.
Break time is over. Back to sanding.

Good job on the kitchen babe. Don't be overwhelmed; you can do it. If you have to eat an elephant, start by eating one bite at a time.
