Tom will be leaving for Japan tomorrow morning. I have to drive him to the air station at 2 AM. I can't believe the time has come. The one good thing that comes from your husband leaving for 6 months is a new outlook on life- a new focus. I have so many things I want to accomplish before he comes back. I want to get in shape, finish the kitchen, redo our bedroom and bath........things that are going to keep me busy. Our relationship has really grown in the past month and I know it will continue to while he is away. Being a military wife is something I never thought I would be- but I have to say I really like the life style- even if it takes Tom away for long periods of time. It has made me a much stronger person and our marriage stronger.
The trip to New Orleans was awesome! I will post pictures soon.
