I received a comment from Erin at girlysmack who just recently discovered my blog. She left the cutest warmest post on her blog introducing me to her readers along with some pictures of things I so dearly love! She SO knows me all from reading my blog! Y'all overwhelm me with all of your love and support! Thank you a million times to all of you!

So glad I could put a smile on your beautiful face! I found your blog through Mabel's House (which I recently fell in love with and want to move into!) and last night I sat on my couch and read every single word of your blog. What an amazing journey... I think you have a remarkable spirit! I wanted all of my friends to hear your story and pray for you. So now you have even more people in your corner!
Alison- I found your blog through a post on a friend's blog and I felt that I needed to journey over and read about your fight. As I read down through a couple of your posts, I finally realized why I felt the urge to journey over. I graduated HS with an amazing girl named Meredith that was diagnosed with stage IV (I believe) colon cancer in May 2006 at the age of 23. She was 3 weekes away from her wedding when they diagnosed her. Anyway, your story and hers are so close that it amazes me. She did live in SC (We are orignially from OH) and moved to Fishers, IN in 2007 where she currently resides with her husband. She is a woman of strong faith and just hearing her story is unbelieveable and I thought that you might want to visit her website and connect to someone that seems very similar to yourself. Sorry this is so long, but I know that I needed to post a comment. She has a website through caringbridge, www.caringbridge.org and then type meredith into the search bar on the page. I will be praying for you, as well, everyday.
Sincerely,
Kim Sexton

You rock! My soul sista! Hang in there.
Stay strong! Your blog is uplifting. You are an inspiration! You rock!
This is Heather, Alison's sister. I think Meredith and her husband live down the street from Michael and me! What an amazing coincidenc. I've only heard about her story from our neighbor, Chris soon after Meredith and her husband moved in. Since then I've often thought and prayed for them. I was deeply touched because she reminded me so much of my sister. Everything sounds identical to the information The Sextons wrote. Wow!
Here's hoping you can feel the waves of support coming from over the pond. You are an amazing girl and the strength of your determination is awesome. Happy Easter wishes.
Hey Alison!
My name is Meredith Rankin, and I live in Fishers, IN too. In fact, my friend Kim emailed me and told me she thinks I live in your sister's neighborhood, and she was right! I live in the Ashwood neighborhood with my husband, Justin, and we just moved in last May. We love it here, so hopefully you'll adapt quickly after your move, too!
It sounds like we've got a lot of things in common, other than location, so I'd love to email you sometime if you're up to it. It's always nice talking to other young people battling cancer, and I've been battling Stage IV colorectal cancer since May 2006, almost two years now. If you ever feel like chatting, feel free to e-mail me at meredithrankin@gmail.com. I hope things are going well for you this week! You'll now be in my constant prayers!
All my love,
Meredith
