- Ali was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (Neuroendocrine Small Cell) when she was 25 years old. Her battle with cancer was one more way her beauty shined through. She was grace and strength. Her faith and spirit are what drives her husband, family and friends. Tom's still writing at "Our Lady, Star of the Sea."

When I first glanced at your post I thought "lust" made your list...I thought, Wow, she's really being honest! Of course I was looking at "trust" and actually "passion" puts it much more nicely.

Alison, I love that post so much. I too believe that a ring is so much more than a ring. Sometimes I feel like the rest of the world doesn't agree. Refreshing to read something that I couldn't agree with more. Like you said, to love in 2008 :) I'm so happy for you both. Amy Jirek
