OUR NEXT DUTY STATION IS INDIANAPOLIS!!!! That means in Juneish, our new home will be Indy for the next 3 years! It was T and I's first choice after much debate. Leaving the South is not easy. Either is leaving Penny and Colin and Jack and Jan. And leaving my current treatment facility. But living closer to most of our family and friends and not 15 hours away will be wonderful. Living in the snow again, not so wonderful. We have many decisions to make now about the house here and where to live there, what cancer center is the best place for my care, etc. Overall, we couldn't be happier.
I don't have the pictures uploaded from our trip yet but hopefully tomorrow that will get done.

That's great news! I live in Phoenix now but my family lives in Indiana about 3 hours from Indy. If you are ever interested, let me know and we can meet up sometime! Alison, you don't even know me but I just wanted you to know that I love your blog! You are totally inspiring and amazing! Kimberly McDermott is my best friend all the way from Elementary school and she always tells me how awesome you are...and you are! Congrats on being able to be closer to your family. That's wonderful news! I know it will be sad leaving such a gorgeous area and your friends there but the benefit of living close to family and friends back home will be awesome. I'm so excited for you!
