I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Oh and....one of my best friends from college got engaged last night!!! They have been dating for almost 7 years! She's been a patient little one. :) Congratulations Katie and Eric! So happy for you.

The Room
I've been hard at work getting the 'Alison Room' organized and of course getting it stocked with great scrapbooking and card making supplies. :) I could spend a whole pay check in a visit to the Carolina Stamper. Now I just need to start creating. I have been making cards (thanks Kimberly for the embosser- LOVE it!) but still am having trouble starting the scrapbook. I just don't know where to start- and the pages seem so permanent- what if they don't turn out they I want them to? I just need to stop the Ms. Perfectionist and dig in. I know it will come to me. And now that my room is organized I feel the creative juices rollin'. Thomas made the shelves for me which turned out beautifully and also made me a magnet board which also looks great. He is away this weekend so I'm taking the opportunity to work on a few projects- I'll post pictures when I've got them finished. Below are pictures of the room and a few cards I made for my sister and a friend who are both 'with child'.

Love the room! Also, my brother and his wife are Eric & Katie. How funny.
Had fun hanging out and I really loved the room. Someday I will have a little place to get my crafty-side out. You did a B-E-A-U-tiful job and the new shelves Tom made are great. Nice and solid! Talk to you later!
