Thank You

I've been thinking a lot lately about all the wonderful things people have done for Thomas and I since I was diagnosed. While I was really sick, it was hard for me to wrap my brain around it all- maybe it was all the pain meds. Now that I've been feeling like myself again (5 MONTHS and counting!) I think a lot about all the wonderful people who have touched our lives. All of the cards, the donations to the 'A Dream For Alison' fund, the thoughts and prayers, the meals, the visits, a stronger faith, becoming closer to friends and family, the new friends we've made through our blogs, the new CAR!- thank you Kathy :), my Chemo Angels Marissa and Michelle.....so many positives things have come out of this. Which keeps me fighting- keeps me going.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE TOUCHED OUR LIVES. I couldn't get through any of this without your prayers, love and support.

I am so happy to hear of how good you are feeling. Just know that you have touched my life more than you will ever know! I thank God everyday for bringing you to me. You are a true blessing to know. I am honored to know you and call you a friend!

(I read penelope's illustration site from time to time.) I stumbled upon this today. today after just hearing that a good friend's 7 yr old son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. It is very fast growing and aggressive. I ask for your prayers for this little boy, Will. We are in Memphis and near St. Jude children's cancer hospital, so that is good. He will have to fight.
thank you, it was good to read your story of hope.

thanks for commenting (particularily for letting me know about the wrenches :) )
I'll have to pass along your blog to Jay, I'm sure he'd love to know how you are doing. I think he mentioned some time ago that someone he graduated with was diagnosed with cancer, I think Jared had mentioned it to him.
it seems like you've had an excellent "team" supporting you through everything...
