Shrek 3

Tonight Thomas, Sarah and I went to see Shrek 3. What a cute and funny movie. And the popcorn with white ceddar on top- oh so good. It was nice to get out of the house and do something different. Thanks guys for a fun time. :)

Also today I had to get my weekly shot and blood drawn. Guess who needs blood? Oh yes that would be me. Just what I wanted to do on a Friday morning....for 5 hours. It really made me angry- I really try to forget about all of this cancer stuff during my two weeks between treatments and live a normal life. I wasn't expecting to be there until next week. I just hate sitting there for hours on end. I'm such an impatient person (just ask Thomas). My platelets are really really low. Only 3,000! Normal is between 150 to 400,000. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to get a platelet transfusion too or just the two units of blood. I really shouldn't be complaining since the last 5 months have been pain free. And I really truly am grateful for that. God has been good to me.

This weekend we are going to Penny and Colin's. Yay to swimming in the pool! And will celebrate Father's Day with Thomas' dad with a cookout. Thomas is really looking forward to getting out of town as he's had a stressful week at work because of inspections. It's so great having family close.
