I'm back in SC! Thomas and I arrived yesterday (Saturday) evening. We left Indiana Friday around 1:00 pm and stopped just outside of Lexington, KY for the night and then set off again early yesterday morning. The drive wasn't too bad- of course I didn't do any of it. Thank you Thomas. :)
Today we are straightening up the house- putting away all Christmas stuff that didn't seem to make it into the attic the first time, sweeping up lots of kitty hair, unpacking, spending much needed alone time together and then later visiting with Tom's dad and stepmom.
Thank you Sarah for taking care of our babies while we were away. You are totally the greatest. You rock my world! I don't know how Thomas and I could ever repay you for being so generous. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have tons of pictures to post of the nieces- y'all will probably get sick of looking at them. :) It was so wonderful getting to spend so much time with them and my sister. They are both so smart and so darn cute. I spoiled the heck out of them- suckers, gum, getting them up early from their naps, giving into their every whine and want. It was a great bonding experience for all. Thomas and I are both a little jealous we don't have our own yet........hopefully someday soon. I told Thomas at the beginning of this year it is the year I beat this cancer. 2007 is the year. Babies will come soon.

Alison,
you don't know me, but I read your blog, and your husbands blog, every day. I think of you frequently, and send you healing thoughts and energy as often as I can. I offer prayers of solace, peace and resilience for you and I wish you a very chocolatey Valentine's day!
Blessings to you and to your family,
JennyAnn in Olympia, Wa.
I'm so glad you made it back home OK! We have gotten over a FOOT of snow here in New Castle, Indiana today. You got out just ahead of the blizzard!
I'll be agreeing with you in prayer that 2007 is THE year for you!!!!
