Round #6

My day yesterday was spent at the Keyserling Cancer Center getting filled with chemo drugs. I was there from 9:30 am till 3 pm! Dr. Chahin again increased one of the drugs, Avastin. I handled the increase so well last time, we decided being aggressive is the best bet. The increase really helped in me not becoming immobile with pain. I have Becky on till tomorrow morning and am feeling pretty well. Just the usually sore belly and tiredness. I've slept a lot of the day today. Feels great!

I'm excited to announce Thomas and I will be staying in Beaufort at least until June of 2008. We were supposed to get orders to move in June of 2007 but his Monitor (the person in charge of where we go) agreed with Thomas it is in our best interest with me being sick to stay here. As long as the treatment here is working. No stressin' about getting the house ready for sale, packing and moving. Plus, we both really love Beaufort and our house.

We had a really great weekend with Penny and Colin and then a trip to Barnes and Noble Sunday evening. You can read more about the weekend on
Penny's blog. Thomas and I always redid our mailbox which turned out beautifully! You can see pictures of that on his blog here.

Our flower gardens are still blooming even with the temperatures getting pretty chilly at night. I just love this vine growing on the light post in front of the house. The pink is so bright and beautiful.
