Long Long Time Ago.......

I apologize for the long delay in postings. It's hard to get the necessary things done let alone the fun things when I'm in pain all the time. It's not really as bad as it sounds but emotionally, I'm drained. Dealing with the back and now hip issues I'm having has just taken it out of me. Since I've been wearing the insert in my right shoe to correct the leg length discrepancy, my hip and leg have been killing me- unable to sleep, unable to walk for long periods at a time; ie. grocery shopping..... I had a follow-up appointment with the orthopedic doc on Thursday and he suggested I wear it for an hour at a time and build from there instead of trying to wear it all day long. He also suggested continuing with physical therapy and if I'm not any better in a month, he will schedule a MRI.

Tom & I left the house yesterday morning at 4:30 am (after 4 hours of sleep) for his return trip back to Japan. He has been court martialed to testify in a trial for a couple Marines who got in trouble while they were over there. He will return on Thursday and then leave for Yuma, AZ that next Wednesday for a month. We've done this a million times- been apart- but I still get so sad dropping him off. The life of the military.

Today I plan to clean the house, do laundry, get organized, maybe plant some flowers......that is if Sex in the City Season 4 will stop sucking me in. When the show was on TV, I never watched it- for whatever reason. All my friends thought I was crazy- but I'm the kind of person who doesn't want to like something just because everyone else does. It makes me not like it. So now that all the craze has died down, I thought I'd see why it was so hot. And I love it. Chris has the collection and about every two weeks brings over the next season. Season 4 is by far the best so far- Miranda gets pregnant, Aidan and Big become 'friends', Carrie gets engaged.....I have one more disc (out of 3) and then on to season 5.
