The Weekend

Thomas took a trip back to Naples this weekend, along with his dad, to pick up a couch and love seat his grandparents gave to us. They are updating the condo and were going to donate them- I quickly interjected and asked if that donation could be made to us. We had actually been discussing getting a new living room set. I instead used the money to pay down a credit card- the much wiser choose.

I had the weekend alone since Tom was gone- something I wasn't really looking forward to but made plans to keep myself busy. Friday night I met Chris downtown. We met up with some of the guys from the squadron which was fun. The night ended around 4 am- I haven't stayed up that late since college! Saturday morning I got my hair cut and highlighted and then spent the day watching Sex In The City and napped. Chris came over that night to watch Pride & Prejudice- great movie. Sunday I worked out in the yard racking leaves. I couldn't figure out what was smelling so bad until I found this- a small white ball- I cut it open only to find the most disgusting thing I've ever seen! I have no idea what it is and am not sure I want to. Once Tom got home he unloaded the new furniture and removed the old. We took down the bed in 'my' (computer) room and moved two chair in. It's not completely finished yet but looks nice. Tonight Tom is working on turning an old dresser into a TV stand. He's always has something in the works.
