Today ends phase one of the South Beach Diet. Now I get to reintroduce milk, cereal, bread and fruit into my diet. I have to admit, I did cheat a few times- a couple bowls of cereal here and there, some chocolate.....all in moderation. I continue to really watch my sugar intake- buying sugar free (sucka free as Thomas says) or low in sugar foods and staying away from candy and other goodies packed with sugar. I have noticed I'm feeling better.....less belly aches, no more light headedness. And the overall feeling of taking better care of myself. I have started walking too with the girls which has been so nice. I am really striving to better my eating habits for life.

Thomas started working nights last night and I hate it already. His day starts around 4:30 pm and ends around 4:30 am. So when do you think we get to see each other- NEVER. Well, except in the morning when I get to watch him sleep while I'm getting ready for work. I do come home for lunch which gives us an hour together. I know we will make it through it but I just hate him not being here.

On Wednesday I have an appointment with the Orthopedic Doctor. I have been told by my doctor I have Scoliosis- which I kind of have known since I was young. In gym class around the 3rd grade the nurse said I had a slight curve but would grow out of it- not so much did that happen. So on Wednesday we will see what the plan is to treat this- a funky back brace maybe.

I want to go back out on the boat!!!

Great job keeping up with the SB Diet! You're going to be our nutrition guru before long! Another couple days of weather like today and we are all going to have to play hooky and get back out on the boat!

Good luck at the doctor - will keep you in prayers kiddo....I go tomorrow too....to a check up...blood work....will ask for that blood test you talked about! Thanks for that!! :)
