It feels like Fall time here. The leaves are all down, the weather is absolutely perfect, and Thomas & I have been enjoying homemade pumpkin crisp with ice cream for dessert.

Thomas has spent many hours raking leaves to my dismay. I'm not so sure why he finds it necessary since the yard is in the worst condition. You can't walk two feet in it without getting sand burs stuck to your shoes, pants, or anything else touching the ground. That's one of our projects this Spring. I really want a yard I can run around barefoot in.

It's been so amazing having him home. Tonight he had a meeting and wasn't home when I got home from work and all the feelings of loneliness came back. Life is just good when your love is by your side. It's that simple.
