Orange You Glad Your A Banana

I think T has talked me into painting the kitchen orange. He's been trying to get me to paint a room that color since we moved in. I love orange- it was my favorite color until just a few years ago. In high school I had this bright orange sweatshirt I was known for wearing. I just didn't want to devote a whole room to it. But I found a perfect orange- more of a terra cotta orange- very warm- perfect for the kitchen. I was planning to paint our bathroom with it so I got it in semi-gloss and now I'm worried it's going to be too shiny for my liking in the kitchen. T calmed my nerves by reminding me that if I hate it, we can just prime over it and start again. I'm glad the actual task of picking out the color is over- I stood in front of the paint chips at Lowes for hours trying to find that perfect color. Now all I have to do is get it on the walls.
