Rene & Alyssa

My visit home was wonderful. I almost missed my flight though. I literally had 2 minutes to check in before the 30 minute cutoff. I pulled up to the US Airways entrance, popped the trunk, pulled out my suitcase and ran inside. Leaving the car running and everything. I'm so glad Savannah is a little airport. That wouldn't have happened in Indy. They would have towed my car in a second.

First birthdays are so exciting. It's the one time you get to play in your cake and everyone thinks it's the cutest. Alyssa is the cutest- no doubt about that.

Ready for the cake!

I think she's had a little too much sugar at this point- she doesn't look like she feels so well.

Flying with a baby is hectic.......we had her in a stroller which seemed to be a good idea but going through security proved it wasn't. Rene and I both had sweatshirts on so we had take those off plus our shoes. We had to take Alyssa out and put the stroller through the xray......I don't how people do it with more than one kid.

It's funny how having a baby around makes everything different- more exciting in some way. I fed her her bottle every night before bed and then again when she woke up in the morning. I also got to give her all her baths. paisley in bath

The practice was nice but I'm still not ready for my own. Paisley loved her- Lily on the other, didn't. She would hiss and run at the sight of Alyssa. She's such a jealous kitty. I cried when they left. I went straight to Target after I dropped them off. Shopping heals all wounds.
