DECEMBER 21ST!
That's the day Thomas is going to be home! That's less than 2 months! Hopefully. I've waited awhile to post the news b/c in the military, things always change. Now that there is a date set, I feel extremely excited and overwhelmed. I just need to make it through November and with Thanksgiving in there- piece of cake. The rest of the squadron probably isn't going to be back in the States until end of January- a whole month after Tom. I feel bad for their wives- 7 months is so long. Most of the other officers' wives have taken trips though to see their husband since they've been gone. I will be happy when all of the guys are back with their families safe and sound.
The countdown begins......

- Ali was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (Neuroendocrine Small Cell) when she was 25 years old. Her battle with cancer was one more way her beauty shined through. She was grace and strength. Her faith and spirit are what drives her husband, family and friends. Tom's still writing at "Our Lady, Star of the Sea."

I'm happy for you guys. Totally understand the way dates change for deployment - hopefully the Corps will play nice and not change anything. Hope all is well with you.
