I need to get back into my routine. I feel off. The days are passing but I'm not getting anything done. The kitchen still awaits my attention, the dishes continue to pile up, the bathroom grows more crude, Tom waits for me to download more pictures, sisters wait for their birthday cards that arrive 3 days late, the treadmill longs for use.........Maybe it's just because I've been gone. But whatever the reason may be, it's time to return. I need some sort of structure.
I've also been working a lot on the annual officers' chili cookoff. Since the guys are gone the wives are left to do all the work. Each squadron chooses a theme for the night and decorates a tent that is set up in a circle on base housing. Judges decide who has the best tent, chili and drink. Our theme is Japanese since the guys are in Japan. We've got a lot of great things going, now all we have to do is make it come together.
Tom has inspections all this week and is stressed. I wish I could have his favorite beer waiting for him when he gets home at night. I miss him terribly.

Even if you don't feel like it, get on that treadmill. It will help...I promise. It helps me in the worst of moods/lack of moods. Makes me feel like I did one thing right...even if I just walk hard for 30 minutes.
