So you know that new digital camera I want.....T bought it for me!! I had no idea he was even thinking about it! He is the sweetest husband ever. I can't wait for it's arrival. I'm going to go crazy with sending him pictures.
I had a pretty good weekend. Sunday I went shopping with Sarah- another wife in the squadron. She is so sweet. I have alot of fun with her. We are going to start 'Movie Night Wednesdays' tomorrow. Or should I say, 'Feeling Sorry For Ourselves Because Our Husbands Are On The Other Side Of The World' night......I'm so glad I've found such a great friend here. We are also going to check out local churches starting this weekend. It's something T & I and her and her husband have wanted to do since moving here.
Tom is now on night crew. That means he works from about 4 am till 6 pm my time. Which is a good thing. No more calling me at 7 am. I can't have good conversations when I just wake up.

- Ali was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (Neuroendocrine Small Cell) when she was 25 years old. Her battle with cancer was one more way her beauty shined through. She was grace and strength. Her faith and spirit are what drives her husband, family and friends. Tom's still writing at "Our Lady, Star of the Sea."

How sweet! That is awesome of T to do that. Have fun with Sarah - it is always good to find great friends. It sounds like you were really doubting that any were there and now a turn.
I hope it turns out good, sweetheart. Night-crew is better, it'll take me a few days to adjust though...
You know what Alison...I like Tom's motto "Where I land, there I'll stand" You're a STANDING Chic! That shows strength of character and learning to adapt to every situation. We really shouldn't go by what our human side tells us we want all the time, cause sometimes we're not sure what we want. God is the one who leads us to our next destination. I have no idea how much longer we'll be in South Carolina, although I love it and would love to stay, (except for the humidity), but think I could handle it if we had to move again. I hope you find a good church and lots of good friends, that's a firm foundation.
