It's been over a week since T has left and I would have to stay I am doing very well. One day at a time. I can't think about 2, 3 or 4 months from now- that makes me want to break down. Just focus on today.
My 17 year old niece and her friend are coming down from Indiana to visit! They are arriving tomorrow and staying a whole week! I'm so excited to have them here. My niece and I are pretty close. I use to share a room with her before T and I got married. She's a wonderful girl and I can't wait to have her here. The only other person who has been down to see me is my dad- it's along way from Indiana (My older sister H is also coming at the end of the month). It makes me feel so loved she has decided to come here. I am working most of the time but hope to sneak out of work earlier a couple days to take them around. Their visit gives me a great reason to clean the house. And I think I'm going to clean out AJ's room while he's away so the girls can have more room.
It's going to be fun to be around teenagers again. I was lovin life when I was their age. So full of energy. Nothing could stop me. Just ask T- he didn't like me so much back in the day. I was wild and crazy! :)

- Ali was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (Neuroendocrine Small Cell) when she was 25 years old. Her battle with cancer was one more way her beauty shined through. She was grace and strength. Her faith and spirit are what drives her husband, family and friends. Tom's still writing at "Our Lady, Star of the Sea."

Tom and I actually met my Senior year which was his Freshman year at Bethel. We met thru a mutual friend. We didn't start dating until 3 years later.....Let's just say we both believe in fate. :)
