Stormy

The thunder is crackin'- it's scary out there! I wish I could crawl up with a great book- The Secret Life of Honeybees- and my kitties but I'm stuck at work. I have 8 bags of mulch I've been wanting to lay down and new plants to plant but it's rained every evening. I want the house to look a little different when Thomas gets home. I don't want him to think I laid around and watched TV for 3 weeks straight! He wouldn't be so happy.

AJ left for North Carolina this morning. I walked into his room to find the bed made and all his military belongings gone. I will admit I am sad he's not going to be around. We fought like brother and sister- it was fun. He will be in NC for a week and then off the desert in California for a month. He is suppose to leave for Iraq in August but will hopefully come home in July for a weekend. I liked hanging out with him and Cat. I'm going to miss them both- especially when T leaves again. (I won't miss AJ abusing the kitties though. For some reason he didn't like it when they rub their tushes in his face while in heat- I'm not so sure why).
